Meet Marcella
Since the age of 13, Marcella has been in the business of children and education. With titles like daughter, sister, cousin, niece, student, babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, daycare teacher, pre-k teacher, elementary school teacher, mentor, wife, mother, and now author...children's books have always been a huge part of her life!
Marcella holds a Bachelor's degree in education from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in teaching from the University of South Carolina Columbia. She is a member of Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Marcella resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, two boys, and adorable dog.

~ Hreiz is pronounced 'her eyes'.
~ Marcella is Lebanese and celebrates a lot of the cultural traditions and holidays.
~ Marcella enjoys cooking, especially Lebanese food.
~Has known since 3rd grade that she wanted to be a teacher! Has known since 33 that she wanted to write books!
~As a kid, Marcella was an avid bowler and even won a competition or two!
~Marcella is a proud Bando and played in the pit (marimba, xylophone etc.) in marching band and indoor drumline.
~Marcella's favorite color is purple.
~Marcella's first child was born (to the day) on her third wedding anniversary.
~She shows her pride wherever she goes!
~No it's not dyed...Marcella's gray rogue hair is all natural!
